Schedule

     Friday
          7:00-9:00pm (with break)
[Dr. Peterson will address “Suffering and the Scriptures,” showing that the Bible does not pretend that suffering does not exist,
but rather is filled with it.  Thus, suffering is a part of a (post-fall) biblical worldview.]

     Saturday
          9:30-11:30am (with break)
[Dr. Peterson will address “Suffering and the Cross and the Empty Tomb,” showing that God himself embraced suffering
to rescue fallen human beings and the whole creation.]
          11:30-12:30pm (lunch provided)
          12:30-2:30pm (with break)
[Dr. Peterson will address “Suffering and the Resurrection of the Dead,” showing that suffering makes no sense
without our contemplating the end, when God and his people win.]

     Sunday
          9:30-10:30am
[Dr. Peterson will lead a joint Sunday School class, in which he will address “Christ’s Saving Deeds,” showing nine of them,
with his death and resurrection at the core.]
          11:00-12:00pm
[During the worship service, Dr. Peterson will preach on “Jesus’ Resurrection Saves: A Neglected and Vital Truth”]
          7:00-8:00pm
[Dr. Peterson will address “Biblical Pictures of Christ’s Saving Work,” showing how Scripture interprets Christ’s saving deeds
with pictures drawn from the battlefield, law court, slave market, creation, personal relations, and worship.]

* refreshments and childcare provided
